"America's one of the finest countries anyone ever stole." - Bobcat Goldthwaite
On the way to the airport, I saw a sign that said, Howdy, Eh. It made me laugh. Long story. It was a billboard advertising flights to Canada. It was a cool way to end the holiday.
On Thursday Cynthia came into town to celebrate the 4th of July. I'm glad she came because I needed a good friend to go have fun with. She got in a bit late, but we went out anyway. I took her downtown and we checked out Copa. We had a good time during Salsa night. The rest of the weekend followed suit. Friday night we went downtown to 6th street. We bar hopped for bit and then ended up at the Marq where Abram was hanging out with some old friends. Cynthia happened to know this old friend which was kind of cool. On Saturday we checked out the movie Hancock and at night, we ended the break at Speakeasys and then to the Marq where Abram was working.
The trip went by pretty fast. Sunday we had a late lunch at Garcia's and then I dropped Cynthia off at the airport. I was a bit tired from the weekend, but I was glad she came. I watched the latest UFC and cleaned up a bit.
