This weekend Rino's girlfriend Jessica is graduating from college. She is pretty excited to be getting her degree from Texas State and we are all happy for her. Now it is time for celebration, interviews and then the real world. That should make for a fun weekend. Congrats to all the other grads out there. I know a few. Furthermore, my recently married cousin Isra will be in town during Jess's graduation weekend. It will be good to see him. He is coming up with his wife. I hope they have a good time.
Abram is back from his trip home to the Valley. I have pictures from his trip posted. My family are in them, so I figured it worth adding to my collection. He had a good time and got a lot of visiting in. I'm very happy he brought me back some Johnny Walker Black. It is nice to see our bar getting filled up again.
I gave my new digital camera (do I have to say digital anymore or is that just assumed nowadays?) to my mom and decided to upgrade to a slimmer version. I got a small silver canon that just came in the mail today. I'm excited to try it out. Nothing seems to compared to my older canon, but once it got damaged I was never able to fix it. I feel like getting used to the size will be the hardest part, but I'm sure it will be great.
Tears All Around For 'Grey's Anatomy' Finale
The Finale of Grey's was ok. Maybe this year I'm just not as impressed. The whole divorce thing I felt was forced, no foreshadowing on that issue since they got back together, and the whole Izzy about to die things didn't move me emotionally really. I knew her and George might go, but who knows, there are rumors Izzy wants to stay. I'm glad they let George die in the show, it was a good way to go.
I do not support the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" ban in the military. The Daily Show covers it well in a piece titled: He is Gay. So many countries have limited this type of ban, but the US is still getting rid of qualified Arabic translators.
