"One must be poor to know the luxury of giving." - George Eliot

I think I'm going to keep my old laptop. I just can't do it with this small one. I think that what really changed my mind was the size of the keys. They are just too small and I can't seem to get my fingers to learn to type so crowded. I feel lost on the laptop, whereas on my 600m, I feel like its my computer and not a novelty item.

Pick an issue. I've been having a lot of political arguments at school lately. I've decided that next time a person engages in one (I never do the engaging because I find it useless), I just ask them to pick an issue and go down issue by issue on how they are wrong. This keeps them from running all over the map talking about partial birth abortion when we are talking about the idea of preemption in attacking other countries. Today I asked a guy what he ideologically believed liberals wanted? Did they care about the poor, or what was their agenda. He said they wanted to bring the rich down while leaving the poor poor because then everyone could be poor together. I mean, how can someone really believe that. I think conservatives have good intentions, the problem is that their intentions are rooted in protecting their money at the expense of the working class and instilling their values on others. I don't agree with them, but only a few do I see are truly evil and trying to pass their own agendas. (Ashcroft, etc.) Honestly, I just see conservatives as caring about keeping a system where 90% of the income is vested in 1% of the population. Blaming poor people for being poor and keeping things the way they are.

I'm trying to skate out the rest of the week because I really can't think or concentrate right now. Don't you love it when a person makes a joke, which for one, isn't very funny and two, you have heard them say it before. Lets just say that multiple guess doesn't make me laugh.

Yesterday I went to my morning class and then forgot my charger, so I went home to pick it up between classes. I ended up missing my afternoon class. The charger ended up being in my bag. I figured that would be a lesson not to go home, so I learned the lesson fast asleep. Friday, I just took the whole day off. This weekend is so mine.

Wednesday, Angie dropped by to pick up her CDs of "Oreja de Van Gogh." The more I listen to them, the more I like them. We watched the movie Saved. I have heard good things, but it was a pretty kick ass movie. There are so many awesome lines in that movie. I need to get a few people I know to see it. Angie, Fede and I watched the final presidential debate. Bush did better, but just because you lose by not getting your ass kicked, doesn't make you a winner.

I purchased an ionic breeze so that I could get the free car ionic breeze and I returned it after class to the mall and the plan worked perfectly. I enjoy my gadgets.
