Nobel Peace Prize

This is the birthday time of the month. Herbert and Juan are celebrating their bday on the 16th. Well I'm off to the Valley today, I went to work in the morning and then took off after lunch on that long drive home to the valley. Interesting how I still call it home.

I don't think there is much more to say about this. I'm excited for him and for the planet.

On my drive home I finally talked to Maria and got a health update. She updated her blog, so you can find out all the details about how things went. She is doing a lot better now and it was nice hearing what was going on in her life. She was great company on my drive home.

I got to Edinburg and I spent time talking to my mom for a few hours. I then went with my nephew Andrew to have dinner at Applebees. I don't get to talk to him much, so it was nice learning about what was going on in his life. He has his head on straight, but I'm not going to stop pushing college on him. I think he would benefit from leaving town, but the deal I made him was to apply to an out of town college and if he gets in and then decides to stay home and go to school here, well I'll support him, but he can't just not apply and not try. I think he would love San Marcos or Austin, but it is his life and only he can live it.
