Influence
I know I should be studying, but I have been watching a lot more of Scrubs. Maybe it is the fact they show it like 12 times a day and I'm looking for something to distract me. I also saw House for the first time. I tried to avoid this show since I'm not a fan of the medical drama (ER), but now I have another show to add to my list. I think I'm advertisers demographic, and considering how much crap I buy that I don't need, it makes sense.
I'm not a big fan of going to the movies alone. I won some free tickets online the other day and it was either use them or let them go. Something just didn't feel right about going alone, but I went during the day so I didn't feel as out of place. Free is a very good deal. I don't know what it is, I've just been feeling lonely lately. Maybe it is the being indoors trying to study and not getting out enough or the fact that I feel that way even in the middle of a large group. It was good to get away from home though.
I'm still thinking about poker. I wish I wasn't so bad at it. I decided to write one of my papers about poker. Funny because I could of written them both about it, but I didn't think of that. Probably not a good idea. I hope to play some while I'm home for break. It is so soon, yet feels so far.
I think I might of mentioned my pictures were changed on yahoo so my links no longer work. I don't know if I'm going to be able to get them to work, but it is something I will need to work on soon. Thank goodness I just renewed my webpage. I pay too much for my website, considering I only use the free blogger part of it. When I'm famous right? Well, maybe one day.
I found this in an article on CNN the other day:
"So when did the focus of Christianity shift from the unconditional love and acceptance preached by Christ to the hate and condemnation spewed forth by certain groups today? Some say it was during the rise of Conservative Christianity in the early 1980s with political action groups like the Moral Majority. Others say it goes way back to the 300s, when Rome's Christian Emperor Constantine initiated a set of laws limiting the rights of Roman non-Christians. Regardless of the origin, one thing is crystal clear: It's not what Jesus stood for." http://www.cnn.com/2006/US/12/13/bakker.brown.commentary/index.html
Lord, please help me pass my classes

Finals Update
For those of you that noticed I was missing, I'm hoping assumed it was because I was busy with finals. I just wanted to give a quick update on where I'm at.
I have taken two finals and have one to go. I also have two papers to go. The final is the 19th and papers are due the 21st.
I have tickets home and I've leaving on the 20th, the day after my last final. I'm really looking forward to it.
I have to say thank you to Erika for being so wonderful during this time that just really sucks and putting up with finals Marty. I know it sucks when I'm always busy and my mind is so preoccupied with law school.
Things going on in my mind. My mom is getting surgery on her knee, I'm trying not to worry too much, but I also feel guilty for not worrying. Abram has taken his LSAT, so I'm looking forward to seeing how that turns out. I got free movie tickets. Who is going to take care of my cats? So many presents to buy.
